Reviews by participants
Karla is a very attentive course leader. She is able to quickly dive in onto the various research areas and give a good feedback. The course is structured in a way that you get to understand your research, your reviewers and get the confidence to put yourself out there. I'll recommend it any day.

I was very enthusiastic about the course and I'm glad I signed up. Karla lead the course very professionally and carefully. I recommend to participate in the course in the first part of the PhD study, It will direct you and eliminate procrastination.
Marcy K.
Ph.D. student, Medicine
I was very impressed by the quality of the course, knowing that Karla is also a mom of three kids and a full time researcher at the same time. The course is very systematic, leading you from the key "why" questions through your research strategy, finishing with the public communication of the research. The practical part (homework, zoom calls etc.) is also great. I am sure this course will help many young scientists and I wish I had participated in such course earlier in my life 🙂

I really enjoy reading, writing, sports, mountains, trying new things, and freedom. Research always will require some time and passion, but I believe that it can be done in a way that you can keep a good work-life balance and maintain your motivation.

Why is it for free?

I believe that the course is really strong and that it can make a real transformative impact in the professional and personal life of any young scientist. However, this is the beta test of a new course and I (as a scientist) need data to back this claim. I offer this course to you for FREE if you are willing to provide feedback during and after the course.

Still not sure?
